App updates

Update available

When a newer version of Kohana is out, the app can offer it: Update available, with buttons Update now and Later. It shows the version's Changelog so you can see what changed. Choosing Later lets you keep using the app for now.

Update required

Occasionally a change on Kohana's servers means older app versions can no longer work. In that case the app shows Update required with an Update now button, and you need to update to keep using it.

Novels made in a newer version

If you open a novel file made with a newer version of Kohana than yours, the app tells you a newer version is needed to open it. Update the app and open the file again.

Where to find the changelog

Settings > Help > Changelog lists what changed in each version.
