Kohana is free, and ads help pay for it. Premium removes them.
Where you see ads
Free accounts see a full-screen ad at two moments:
- Just before a novel starts playing.
- Just before a scene preview in the editor.
The ad closes when you dismiss it, and then your novel or preview starts. Ads are served by Google AdMob. They are never shown in the middle of reading.
Remove them
Subscribe to Premium. Ads stop as soon as the app knows about your subscription, on any device where you are logged in.
Privacy choices
In the EU and UK, Kohana asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice any time in Settings > Privacy Choices. The row only appears where the law requires it. See Help and about.
